Give monthly

Turn one decision into ongoing support

A monthly gift funds rehabilitation grants, professional education, and research all year long, or follows one rescue dog's journey through Sponsor a Dog's Journey. Choose an amount and a fund once, then let it keep working. Change or cancel anytime.

Quick answer

How a monthly gift works

A monthly gift charges the amount you choose on the same date each month until you change or cancel it. Direct it to the Research & Innovation Fund, the Rehabilitation Grants Fund, the Professional Education Fund, or Sponsor a Dog's Journey below, or let the Foundation apply it where funding is needed most. You can update your amount, switch funds, or cancel at any time.

Journey progression

One dog's journey, stage by stage

Sponsor a Dog's Journey follows one featured rescue dog at a time through structured training toward an adoptive home. Here is what a monthly gift moves through.

A handler gives a hand-cue to an adult Australian Shepherd on a leash inside an indoor training space with agility equipment visible.

Training begins

Your gift funds the first structured sessions: leash work, focus, and foundational obedience with a professional trainer. This is where a dog coming out of a hard situation starts learning that people are safe and predictable.

An adult yellow Labrador Retriever holds a confident stay in an outdoor field while a handler stands at a distance.

Skills take hold

Sessions continue and build on each other: recall, settle, and exposure to the situations that used to be overwhelming. Steady monthly funding means training does not pause between fundraising pushes.

A family sits together on a living-room couch petting a smiling adult Corgi.

Home, together

The dog moves into an adoptive home carrying the skills to stay there. When that placement happens, the fund introduces the next dog, and a recurring gift keeps the cycle moving without a gap.

Monthly giving vs. one-time gifts

Two ways to give, one mission

A one-time gift meets an immediate need right away, the kind you can make any time from the general donation page. A monthly gift does that too, then keeps showing up: funding rehabilitation, education, and research between fundraising pushes, without you having to remember to give again. Both matter. Neither is required to make the other worthwhile.

What recurring support enables One-time gift Monthly gift
Meets a need Right away, for a specific appeal or moment Every month, on the same date, automatically
Keeps programs funded between campaigns Not by itself. It takes a follow-up gift to keep going Yes. Rehabilitation grants, professional education, and research stay funded even when there is no active campaign
Lets the Foundation plan ahead Harder. Each gift is its own separate decision Easier. A known, recurring gift lets a grant cycle or a dog's journey get funded across months, not just at the moment of one appeal
Effort after your first gift None, unless you choose to give again None. Update your amount, switch funds, pause, or cancel anytime without starting over

Frequently asked questions about giving monthly

Can I change or cancel my monthly gift?

Yes. You can change your amount, switch which fund you support, or cancel at any time.

Will I get a receipt for my monthly gift?

Yes, you will receive a receipt for each gift. Donors should consult their own tax adviser regarding how a gift is treated.

Can I direct my monthly gift to a specific fund?

Yes. You can support the Research & Innovation Fund, the Rehabilitation Grants Fund, the Professional Education Fund, or Sponsor a Dog's Journey, or let the Foundation apply your gift where it is needed most.

How is Sponsor a Dog's Journey different from the other funds?

Sponsor a Dog's Journey is a recurring monthly gift tied to one featured rescue dog's structured training and rehabilitation journey, the three stages pictured earlier on this page. When that dog's journey ends in placement, the fund introduces the next one.

Does the tier I choose change which dog I am supporting?

No. Supporter, Champion, and Guardian all fund the same featured dog's journey. The tier you choose is about what fits your budget, not a different program or a different dog.
