Proof over promise
Real numbers, published once we have them
Partners Dogs Foundation has not yet completed a grant cycle, so we do not have a verified figure to publish for dogs and families served, grants awarded, service hours contributed, or funds directed by mission pillar. This page explains exactly what we will report, how it will be defined, and what stays out until it is verified.
Direct answer
Why this page has no numbers yet
An honest impact number needs three things: a clear definition of what it counts, a stated reporting period, and a real source. The Foundation has not yet closed a grant cycle, so none of our public figures have all three yet. Rather than publish an estimate to fill the space, we are holding every number until it is verified, and using this page to show exactly how that reporting will work.
Proof over promise
Our impact, once we have it
Every figure below will carry a program definition, a reporting period, and a source the day it publishes. None of that exists yet, which is why none of it ships as a placeholder number.
Impact reporting begins with our first grant cycle.
- Defined, dated, sourced
- Verified before it publishes
- Reviewed on a cycle, not a whim
How we will report
Our reporting methodology
Four commitments guide every number the Foundation eventually publishes on this page.
-
Define the metric first
Before any figure is published, we write down exactly what it counts and does not count, so a number can never be reread later to mean something it did not.
-
Attach a reporting period
Every figure covers a stated window, such as a specific grant cycle or fiscal year, never an undated running total.
-
Cite a real source
Each number links back to internal case tracking, program records, or a citable external source, so it can be checked rather than taken on faith.
-
Publish on a cycle, not a whim
Figures update as each grant cycle closes and are reviewed internally before they replace the prior period's numbers.
Where the plan points
Where we are headed by 2030
These four numbers are not results. They are the destination in the Foundation's five year plan, published now so anyone can hold us to them once real reporting begins. The verified total today, shown in the band above, is still zero.
$1,500,000

2030 goal: cumulative funds raised for rehabilitation, education, and research, based on annual fundraising of $250,000 to $500,000. · Target: 2030 · Source: Foundation 2030 plan

Dogs reached through rehabilitation grants
2030 goal: dogs supported through rehabilitation grant awards, with typical grants of $1,000 to $5,000. · Target: 2030 · Source: Foundation 2030 plan
100+
Professional education grants awarded
2030 goal: education grants for pet care professionals, with typical grants of $1,000 to $5,000. · Target: 2030 · Source: Foundation 2030 plan

Research studies funded and reported openly
2030 goal: research campaigns funded in first phases of $5,000 to $25,000 and reported with methods and limitations. · Target: 2030 · Source: Foundation 2030 plan
A goal is a target we are publishing in advance, not a claim about work already done. When our first grant cycle closes, the verified totals report separately, next to these same targets, with their own definition, period, and source.
Questions
Impact reporting FAQ
When will the Foundation publish its first impact numbers?
As soon as our first grant cycle closes and each figure has a verified definition, reporting period, and source. We do not have a firm date to share yet, and we will not guess one here.
Why not publish an estimate in the meantime?
An estimate can be repeated as fact long after it stops being accurate. We would rather show nothing than show a number we cannot stand behind.
Will old numbers ever be removed once new ones are verified?
Each reporting period replaces the prior one after internal review, and the definition and source travel with every figure, so past numbers stay understandable in context rather than disappearing without explanation.
